鈥� Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the primary curriculum, ensuring alignment with national standards (e.g., Chinese National Curriculum) and international frameworks (e.g., IPC, IB PYP, Cambridge Primary).
鈥� Establish clear teaching objectives, learning outcomes, and assessment policies for grades 1鈥�6 (or equivalent).
鈥� Organize regular professional development sessions, lesson observations, and collaborative planning meetings.
鈥� Oversee student discipline, well-being, and pastoral support systems.
鈥� Ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
鈥� Monitor student academic progress and social-emotional development; implement intervention strategies when needed.
鈥� Manage the daily operations of the primary section, including scheduling, class allocation, and resource management.
鈥� Collaborate with other school leaders (e.g., secondary principal, director of studies) to ensure alignment across sections.
鈥� Ensure compliance with local education bureau requirements and international accreditation standards.
鈥� Master鈥檚 degree or higher in Education, English, or a related field.
鈥� Valid teaching certification (e.g., Chinese teaching license, PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
鈥� Deep understanding of primary pedagogy, child development, and bilingual education models.
鈥� Familiarity with international curricula (IPC, IB PYP, Cambridge) and Chinese national standards.
鈥� Fluent English (working language proficiency) and Mandarin Chinese (minimum professional working proficiency) to effectively communicate with Chinese and international staff, students, and parents.
